As a Business Technology Leader with an emphasis on Energy Services, Mr. George established Georgetown Utilities in January 2003 an energy services firm providing innovative products and services to commercial, industrial, institutional, and governmental clients interested in reducing operational expenses in the area of energy usage. Currently engaged as a senior consultant at Siemens Building Technologies, Mr. George provides account development and management in energy optimization, building automation, mechanical, and electrical services to commercial and industrial customers. Mr. George has over 15-years of experience in Energy Services and 23-years’ experience in the Information Technology Management across eight (8) "blue chip" industry leading companies: Siemens, DTE Energy, Johnson Controls, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Hallmark Cards, American Express, AT&T, and A.C. Nielsen. He holds an M.B.A.from Baker University in Overland Park, Kansas in Business Management &Accounting and a BS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Computer Science.
Mr. McCarthy is Senior Vice President and Client Technology Officer. He leads all engineering and product development efforts. Mr. McCarthy has held this position since 2014. Previously he held executive positions at Energetics, Incorporated; Lockheed Martin Corporations; Aspen Systems Corporation; Applied Management Sciences, Incorporated; and ADM Associates, Incorporated. He held engineering positions at Hittman Associates, Incorporated and led the ESPC division at Lockheed Martin Corporations. He holds a Sc.B. in Civil Engineering and an A.B. in Urban Studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He has taken additional courses in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Davis, and California State University in Sacramento.
Mr. Piepenbrink joined Georgetown Utilities in an equity position in January 2014 and currently serves as Treasurer and CFO. His principal duties include accounting and financial controls for the company, including banking and capital formation, and is director of project estimating and field operations. He is a former Vice President of construction at Alliant/Exelon Energy Services – a major utility Energy Services Company. He holds an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and a B.A. Engineering degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Mr. Piepenbrink spent the majority of his professional career as a general, mechanical, and electrical construction manager of multi-million dollar commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in the greater Philadelphia, PA and Washington, DC areas. Most recently, he was general manager of energy efficiency programs for Lockheed Martin in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA, and Portland Oregon.
